Robertson has been writing, performing and recording on the local Melbourne music scene as a solo artist and with a number of bands and acoustic/roots projects since the 1990s. Wake Up The Dead is his eighth independently released CD. NEIL ROBERTSON Robertson's debut full length solo album 'Wake Up The Dead' is a collection of twelve great songs fueled by crisp acoustic guitars, mandolin, a driving rhythm section and some beautiful and powerful harmony vocals. The album was written, recorded and produced by Robertson, with a little musical help from some of Melbourne’s most talented musicians and singers. www.myspace.com/neilsrobertson KINGS AND THIEVES Kings and Thieves are a three piece all original rock band formed in early 2010. Robertson (guitar, vocals) has teamed up with David Megna (guitar, bass) and John Goss (drums) to create a huge sound with great tunes, a big rhythm section and fluid electric guitars. The band started gigging locally in late 2010 and are currently working on their debut album. www.kingsandthieves.net UNSUNG HEROES OF AUSTRALIAN HISTORY A fine contemporary folk project featuring the combined talents of Moira Tyers, Wendy Ealey, Bruce Watson and Neil Robertson. This original work celebrates the lesser known heroes of Australian History in song, spoken word and multimedia. The album Unsung Heroes of Australian History was recorded and released in early 2011.
