Welcome to the home page of Neil Robertson, a singer/songwriter based in Melbourne' Australia.
'Wake Up The Dead' is his latest album, a punchy collection of twelve great songs fueled by crisp acoustic guitars, mandolin, a driving rhythm section and some beautiful and powerful harmony vocals.
The album is was written and produced by Robertson, with a little musical help from some of Melbourne’s most talented musicians and singers.
Robertson has been writing, performing and recording on the local Melbourne music scene as a solo artist and with a number of bands and acoustic/roots projects since the 1990s. Wake Up The Dead is his eighth independently released CD but his first full length solo album.
Robertson is also currently playing with Wendy Ealey, Moira Tyers and Leticia Maher in great new four piece roots/harmony outfit Unsung (www.myspace.com/unsungers), who backed him on several tracks on the album. Unsung are performing local venues and festivals to rave reviews from the punters.
